Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 1 April 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Fabric Republic. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, experiences, maker classes, and all services we offer. By booking with us or using our website, you agree to these terms. Fabric Republic is a community-driven fashion design organisation registered in Poland. We operate experiences, maker classes, graduate programmes, and the Upcycle Collective.

2. Booking & Reservations

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received in full and you have received a confirmation email from us. For experiences and maker classes, we recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance. For graduate programme enrolment, we require at least six months' notice before your intended start date. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking, or have consent from a parent or guardian if aged 12–17 (for experiences and classes only).

3. Payment Terms

Payment is required in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via credit/debit card, bank transfer, and selected digital payment methods. For graduate programme enrolment, our fee is paid in two stages: 50% upon acceptance to secure your place, and 50% before arrival in Poland. All prices are quoted in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated and include applicable Polish VAT.

4. Cancellation Policy

Experiences and Maker Classes: • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time • Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable but can be rescheduled to another available date • No-shows are charged in full Graduate Programme: • Full refund available up to 90 days before programme start date • 50% refund available 30–90 days before start date • No refund within 30 days of start date, but deferral to the next intake may be possible Upcycle Collective donations cannot be refunded but can be redirected to another collection point if needed.

5. Maker Classes

Our maker classes are taught by working artisans and craftspeople in their own studios or partner spaces. While we carefully curate our teaching partners, Fabric Republic is not responsible for the individual teaching style or methods of any particular maker. All materials and tools are provided unless stated otherwise. You may take home everything you make during the class. Classes have minimum and maximum participant numbers. If a class does not meet the minimum, we will offer you a reschedule or full refund.

6. Graduate Programme

Our graduate programme is an enrolment support service, not an educational institution. We help you apply to and enrol in accredited Polish fashion and design schools. The final admission decision rests with the partner school. Our service fee covers application support, visa guidance, accommodation placement, and first-year advisory. It does not cover tuition fees, which are paid directly to the partner school. We work with accredited Polish schools of every size — state universities, private academies, specialist institutes, and international partnerships. We only recommend programmes we believe are a genuine fit for your goals and portfolio.

7. Upcycle Collective

By donating materials to the Upcycle Collective, you confirm that you own the materials and have the right to donate them. You understand that donated materials will be redistributed to designers, students, and makers for creative reuse. Donated materials cannot be returned. We reserve the right to decline donations that do not meet our quality or safety standards. We track the weight and type of all donations for impact reporting purposes. This data is anonymised and aggregated.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by Fabric Republic or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. This includes using our photographs, brand name, or logo for commercial purposes. User-generated content (reviews, photos from experiences) may be shared on our website and social media with your permission. You retain ownership but grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it for promotional purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

Fabric Republic's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. We carry appropriate insurance for our experiences and classes. However, you participate at your own risk and are responsible for your personal belongings. For graduate programme students, we are not liable for visa rejections, school admission decisions, or changes to partner school programmes that are outside our control.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kraków, Poland. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
